(Rio Rancho, NM) —The Rio Rancho Police Department (RRPD) participates in many events and activities with the goal of building trust between law enforcement and the community we serve. The Cone with a Cop event at Dairy Queen in Rio Rancho on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will be another great community engagement opportunity.
These types of events give RRPD a chance to meet community members at neutral locations for real conversations about issues that matter. Residents, in turn, can sit down with officers
and ask questions or share what’s on their mind and, in a short time, we all get to know one another and discover common goals we all share for the future of our community.
