Tapping into my true passion when I started working in the marketing world for High Plains FCU in Clovis NM from 2002-2014. Engaging the youth in Financial Education. I introduced and conducted the first student run credit union in New Mexico at the Clovis High School Freshman Academy. I then transferred to Albuquerque NM in 2014 to work with the amazing marketing team at the Credit Union Association of NM. Helping create programs that were offered to credit unions across the United States promoting financial literacy. Sadly, as my role played out with the credit union, I ventured into another industry not steering away from the marketing world. I became an account manager for the wholesale industry taking care of NM, parts of Colorado and Texas. I assisted retail stores in choosing merchandise (gift, apparel, garden, and home décor) for their customers while bringing in a good margin for their business. One of my favorite job perks in the marketing industry is being able to catch up with my accounts. I never viewed these people just as a business but as lifelong friends.
As COVID brought a lot of change to everyone, I too experienced professional changes. I received my real estate associate broker’s license in 2021 and started selling real estate in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and surrounding communities working for Keller Williams Riverside. Just recently starting part-time at the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber working in Marketing & Service Representative. I look forward in getting to know each one of our members and promote your businesses effectively.
