Per the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce Bylaws, the Executive Committee is accepting applications for the 2023 Board of Directors The Board of Directors consists of 20-25 members. The Board of Directors typically meets monthly, and all members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors offer time, thought and support to better the business environment and the community. Board member duties consist of attending functions as well as volunteering their time and energy for various Chamber programs. Board members terms are limited to two consecutive three year terms.
Consideration for a Board Members position requires the nominee’s organization to have been a member for greater than twelve consecutive months and be a member in good standing. Additionally, no more than one representative from any member organization may serve on the Board simultaneously.
We encourage our members to apply. Applicants are reviewed by the Executive Committee based upon service in the Chamber as well as background and experience. This slate of Directors is presented to the Board of Directors in October and announced to the entire membership at the Chamber’s Annual November Meeting and Planning Session. Seating of the new board will take place at the January 2023 Board of Directors meeting.
