In your opinion, what sets the Chamber apart from other business organizations in the area?
The Chamber truly has a community and businesses first mindset. That mindset is demonstrated through the vast benefits and resources received with membership, the commitment to advocacy and awareness, various networking opportunities and being actively present in the community. Other business organizations aren’t showing up in all the ways that the Chamber does.
How has the Chamber helped you connect with other businesses and professionals in the community?
It started with participating in the Leadership Sandoval Program where I had the opportunity to work with other community leaders across a wide array of specialties and industries. Through Leadership Sandoval, I learned of the regular events that the Chamber holds, like Women in Leadership Luncheons and Business After Hours, which offer consistent occasions to engage with other businesses and members of the community. I enjoyed Leadership Sandoval so much that after I graduated, I pursued a Board position and currently sit as the Secretary. Later, I had the opportunity to also join the Chamber Board, and these positions have only furthered the opportunities for connection, networking, and deepening my community involvement.
