I was given the opportunity to participate in the Chamber on behalf of Lovelace Westside Hospital and Lovelace Healthcare and having been on a board for another organization I understand the importance of this role.  The board is there to not only support the Chamber but to understand area businesses, giving them support and a voice they might not otherwise have.  I was given an awesome introduction to the Rio Rancho and Sandoval County business community as a participant and graduate of Leadership Sandoval and now as a RRCC board member.

The thing that impressed me the most about the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce is the level of involvement with businesses and business leaders. There are regular functions for community leaders to network and support area employers and the fact that the Chamber was so instrumental in helping so many businesses survive during the pandemic speaks volumes. I was also impressed by the number of West Albuquerque businesses that are members of the Chamber.
