SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce works in partnership with the Sandoval County Small Business Development Center (NMSBDC) and WESST a nonprofit organization. Both of these organizations have an office located in the Chamber’s office area.
Both these companies help to establish and promote members of the community to start, buy and or network with small businesses.
Whether you are wanting to start a business, purchase a business, need counseling and or consulting for your business both NMSBDC and WESST can guide you in the world of business.

2014 SMALL BUSINESS WEEK & AWARDS
The New Mexico District Office will only be accepting nominations for the Champion Awards listed below. The nomination process is described in the guideline attachment below that will be awarded at the National level and processed by the New Mexico District Office except for the New Mexico Small Business Person of the Year who will compete nationally. The deadline for each award nomination is noted.
Small Business Exporter of the Year
Minority Small Business Champion of the Year
Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year
Women in Business Champion of the Year
If you know a small business that you feel is outstanding in the various areas as designated in the guidelines, please feel free to nominate them. Small Businesses fuel the economy and are deserving of recognition in our community.
Please note that the deadline for nominations is January 17, 2014. The categories for national competition are listed in the guidelines. You will have to submit nominations for national competition on-line as directed in the guidelines.
