This will be an informational meeting on the 2014 Grant process for
the Rio Rancho Community Foundation.

The following is required for 2014 Grants:

  • 4 copies of the filled out application with signatures and a copy of your board approval for grant request minutes or letter.
  • A copy of your 501 (C ) 3 documentation and a copy of your 2013 Tax return or 2013 End of Year Financial Statements.
  • Any other brochures or information related to project/function of grant request.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS & INFO INTO CHAMBER BY 4;00 PM FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2014

Applicant recipients for 2014 will be asked to attend the
Mayors Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2014
held at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort & Spa. Sponsor for a seat or table to attend is highly recommended.  Grant recipients will be able to pick up their grant money at this event.

Founded in 2007, the Rio Rancho Community Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 with a mission to promoe charitable activities and excellence in community affairs within the City of Rio Rancho, communities in Sandoval County and Albuquerque’s Westside.

The Rio Rancho Community Foundation recieves funding through several sources including endowments, bequests, donations, memorials and it signature annual fundraising events, “The Mayors’ Gala”. The Foundation administers grants to nonprofit (501c3) organizations on an annual basis.

Mission of the Rio Rancho Community Foundation

The mission of the Rio Rancho Community Foundation is to promote charitable activities and excellence in community affairs within the City of Rio Rancho and the surrounding communities in Sandoval County and Albuquerque’s Westside.  The Foundation is not organized to promote the educational activities of the Rio Rancho Public Schools or in any way promote fundraising for the Rio Rancho Public Schools.

The Purpose of the Rio Rancho Community Foundation

Additionally, the Foundation’s purpose is to receive and maintain a fund or funds, subject to the limitations and restrictions hereinafter set forth, for use and application to the promotion and success of the City of Rio Rancho and the surrounding communities in Sandoval County and Albuquerque’s Westside.
