What is Leadership Sandoval County?

Leadership Sandoval is people committed to enhancing the quality of life in Sandoval County by improving their knowledge of the community and increasing their leadership effectiveness. Associates develop and refine their leadership skills through an intense, nine-month educational experience.

During the program year, these participants explore current challenges facing Sandoval County and learn how to become agents of change. Upon completion, these new members become a part of a network of graduates who keep in touch with each other as they serve on boards and committees across the county.

Our Mission

Leadership Sandoval is an educational program established to ensure a continuum of leadership throughout the county. It provides a multi-disciplinarian forum for exchanging ideas and strategies that will develop and engage leaders who work together to serve the good of Sandoval County. The program will bring together leaders from all sectors and integrate them directly into the arena of community affairs.

“When I was introduced to LSC, I was encouraged to participate and told that it would change my career. Needless to say, I was skeptical but have absolutely been proven wrong! I have had the wonderful opportunity to learn about the great community we live and work in. I have met amazing people that will be wonderful friends for years to come! I would recommend it to anyone and have already done so to more than 10 people! Thanks!”Michael L Martin, CFP® Financial Advisor, U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. ,U.S. Bancorp Insurance Services, LLC

“LSC exceeded my every expectation!  The program design was informative, relevant, and fun.  During the year, I have made many, many new contacts and long-term relationships have been formed. But the absolute highlight was the community project work. We had a fantastic team, and the project we chose allowed us to come together, exploit the many talents of our individual members, and build a bond that will remain long after graduation. Thank you RRR C of C for sponsoring such a worthwhile program, the benefits to me personally and professionally will be felt for years to come!” Jeanie Springer-Knight, Partner, Springer5 Investments
